For those not aware, WeTV is the English version of TencentTV, and their free episodes get released at the same rythme as in China. They have subs in English, Malaysian, Singaporean, Indonesian, Thai, Spanish and Portuguese: Link.

Youtube has free subbed episodes released too, but they get released a few days later than on WeTV: Link.

Some things I want to say about Douluo Continent and Xiao Zhan...

Before you read fake rumors spread by antis/haters elsewhere.

Douluo Continent has been airing on CCTV8 and TencentTV (WeTV for overseas users) since February 5th, and has been very popular both in China and overseas. While antis keep trying to report the show by throwing dirt on the main actors, none of the platforms show any sign of conceding to their ridiculous demands.

One of their tactics was to find fault on the opening sequence of Douluo Continent, saying that part of it was copied from an Avenger movie and another work. The animation studio in charge of working on this opening sequence also worked on those other movies. They have apologized for their carelessness with regards to the similarity and re-edited the opening the day after immediately.

Below is the official statement from the company.

I don't want to translate the entire thing, but basically they explained that the same artists worked on both 3 projects and that they apologize for not being vigilant enough to realize the problem while editing the opening for Douluo Continent. The similarities occupy 15 seconds out of the 92 seconds opening.

One other thing, I know that some websites host more episodes than Youtube and WeTV right now, but I plead you to watch it on official channels. And to comment and like those episodes on the official channels. A lot of Xiao Zhan's sponsors like his overseas influence, and if you watch on random third party websites, none of your feedback will be noticed by TencentTV.

A lot of people PM me for his fanmail address, to write support letters for him and whatnot, but this is a real thing that you can do to support him. Watch his shows on legal channels and like/comment on them. Ask your friends to watch his shows on proper channels. Express your love for him through official channels.

One last thing, someone asked me recently if Xiao Zhan made another instagram, the answer is NO. His account was hacked back in March and he never got it back. His only active social media accounts are on weibo, oacis and douyin. Any other accounts are FAKE.
